Absolutely the kindest and patient woman running the counter. We have never been here before and she took her time answering what was in various dishes and told us how we can swap veggies out, so we are happy with our meal! And the food. Oh, my Lord. It came out piping hot, quite large, and so flavorful. Easily one of the best Thai food places we’ve been!

I have been eating at Thai Siam for over a decade. It is hands down the best Thai food around if you don’t agree I will gladly fight you outside a Waffle House. I loved the original owners but they have retired after 20 years of service and are in Thailand currently. but now since the new owners have taken over they are now open for lunch which is a big deal and they are adding new menu items but still have the same Thai recipes which are on point if you live in Lawrence or are going through Lawrence I can’t recommend this place enough

Superb Thai restaurant with a mix of Thai, Vietnamese, and Chinese dishes at an excellent price point. Located in a strip mall on the west side of town, Thai Siam also offers a superb selection of appetizers. Staff was able to provide help and suggestions. The food was prepared fresh and served promptly without delay. My favorite dish is the grilled pork with broken rice with egg loaf and porj julienne. The spring rolls are also awesome. If you like hot spicy Thai, try the curries at medium unless you can handle high spicy. Medium was sufficiently hot for me. Dishes are plentiful and tasty. It is a great spot for Asian food at a good price and made fresh by a superb staff.

Week one of school down - one month in for my son’s move to Lawrence! We (re)started his path to his future, and needed to eat. Always excited to try new Asian-type food spots, we ran across Thai Siam and met the new owner, Sa Pham, who was so sweet and genuine. She made every accommodation to ensure our dine-in experience was awesome. During our visit after lunch we learned that they have only been operating the restaurant since July with online and call in orders only! In fact, she disclosed that we were here very first DINE IN customers! She let us sample her Sweet Thai Chili dipping sauce with the wings we bought! It was very good, and a perfect match for that side. My son ordered the Sweet and Sour Chicken packed full of big chunks of fried chicken pieces, green peppers, carrot slices and pineapple. My order was loaded with the same chicken, but had the SPICY General Tso’s sauce (we got the hottest version for me - because that’s how I roll!). It was money well spent for great food. We look forward to revisiting her again when we come back!

Thank God nice people took this place over but kept the amazing recipes of the old owners. They've also added some more absolutely incredible stuff like their banh mi... Delicious! This is spicy shrimp pad Thai and it was delicious! Very generous portions. Friendly staff. Quick service. Massive improvement from the old angry owners.

The Thai food here is DYNAMITE! So good and so tasty. Supposedly the new owners are using the recipes from the old owners and the food is phenomenal. We had the yellow curry with tofu and pineapple chicken curry both spiced to perfection. It’s an old Subway shop so ambiance is not much but do yourself a favor and get some food here. You won’t be spdisappointed. The people are fabulous as well. Portion sizes are huge!
